Issues with Mounting Micro SD Card
I just wanted to take a few minutes to post about an issue I had and resolved in case anyone else has this issue.
I have a micro sd card that had been previously mounted and used in my Galaxy S (original). When I inserted it into my new Galaxy S3, the option to mount the sd card was grayed out and it said 'insert sd card'. I tried removing and inserting again but this did not help. I then tried putting it back in my old phone and it read it fine. I tried inserting it into the S3 again and still nothing. I backed up all of my data, put it in the old phone and re-formatted/unmounted the card. After this I tried putting back in the new phone and it worked. You shouldn't have to do this but it worked for me.

I read a blog where a user was trying to use a 64gb micro sd card and received a "bad card" error message. That user advised to ignore the message and go to settings, storage and format the card. The card was then formatted to the S3 standard and worked fine.
Of course in your case, the card should have already been properly formatted. But since it is now working for you, I'd have to say it's all good.

I came across this problem last night. You must install the program on you PC called Kies Air from Samsung's website. That seems to be the only way to install the driver that are compatible for your phone. The first time I downloaded and installed it worked right away. Then I noticed they had an update for the program I then found my phone not connecting. Restarted phone and PC and this seemed to work. Hope this helps. I know your pain all you wanna do is transfer files Samsung messed up on just a few steps with this phone's OS.
